I hope that this is ok(i only saw skirts and dresses while browsing..). I just found this community so this is only a completion post. It's very basic and my first time sewing something like this(i.e. lots of small mistakes), so i figure there wouldn't have been much progress to show anyway.

Did you make changes from original plan?: i made the bows from scrap just to see how it would look but i liked it so i left them on.
Did you discover something you want to share?: sleeves in one piece! -_-;
How happy are you with the result?: 60% it actually did not occur to me that sleeves are supposed to be in one piece until this morning. yes, i have worn sleeved clothing before, people. i don't know what i was thinking, i thought the seem looked nice at the time. T_T overall i think it turned out fine for the first time.

lolita?

I got bored today, so I made this sponge cake topped with lime whipped cream and raspberries. The sponge cake could definitely have been better because I totally failed at folding in the flour so there were lumps randomly scattered about (hence the lack of naked cake pictures), but the texture wasn't as dense and stomach-punching as the last one, so it's an improvement XD I used the hot milk sponge recipe here for the base, but I guess it's not so much a sponge since it's got butter in it.

The cake got brushed with lime syrup (1/4 cup sugar and water and the juice from half a lime) on both sides. Half the raspberries were macerated with just sugar and the other half with sugar and gin (because what goes better with lime?) I also threw in a tbsp of lime juice into whipped cream to make the lime whipped cream. Sorry for the poor "decorating" as I just cut squares and stacked them up with the other ingredients in my haste to eat it　XD

Next time, if I can get the sponge cake to turn out all right, I might attempt to make this as a roulade!

So, I have seen the beautiful photos of the cakes make by the Wilton Giant Cupcake Pan and I was super curious! I have been looking everywhere for one! Ebay has a few, but I feel they get pretty pricey. I went to my local A.C. Moore because everything there is on sale, but I had no luck. I saw a sign on the side of the road (lol) that Linens N Things are going out of business so I decided to go there. Everything is about 25-60% off. I went in and to my surprise, I FOUND THE GIANT CUPCAKE PAN! I am so anxious to use this, but the best part about it...I only paid about $22 with taxes!!!! I was delighted!! So I am just posting to let you guys know if you have one around you and you want the pan, they [should] have them there. I live in West Palm Beach, FL and the one I went to had about ten! Happy giant-pan findings! =)

On Friday, hung out with kyraensui, mingmingcheong, and hellmaster05! Tho in the end we didn't watch movie, we played Rock Band Wii at my house. Played all day yesterday too. It was teh awesome. 8D Butchering the vocals is my forte.

Also bought the Zelda Four Swords+ mangas at an impulse. xD The four five Links are so fun, what with their different personalities... I love Red and Blue's little fights, but Shadow Link's development was the highlight.

Let's see, I finished looking over the Geography midterm stuff. I actually enjoy the material for the class a lot. It reminds me one of my earliest passions in elementary school was earth science (somewhat geography then). I remember borrowing so many books about rocks and minerals from the library ^^; Well that is until high school where my academics in science rock bottomed (no pun intended). Actually there wasn't anything in particular I excelled on.

My classes for Fall is still not completely figured out yet, but I'm just keep avoiding it. This won't do... *losing sight*

I've been looking to buy some dresses, so I was checking Celga out and on the form it says something like "link of item"
and from the past Ive had trouble posting direct links of items..
how do you do it? I checked the memories etc and searched egl but saw nothing.

oh I also read that celga was not so good and wasn't recomended by some people, and ive also heard some good things about Mai's shopping service but i have NO idea how to get to her (ebay?) for the life of me..
